Articles > Do you want buy a new Ac Power Adapter?If you are want to buy a new Ac Power Adapter, you have to check following: 1.Ac Power Adapter must have exactly the same adapter tip as the original one. 2.Ac Power Adapter must output the same voltage (V) as the original one. 3.Ac Power Adapter’s polarity must be the same as on the original one. You will find the output voltage (V) and amperage (A) on the Ac Power Adapter’s label. You can see a sample on the picture below. 
Buying a new Ac Power Adapter, you should follow this rule: The adapter’s output voltage (V) must be the same such as for original one, also the amperage (A) could be the same or higher than on the original ac power adapter. Example: If my laptop requires 16(V) - 3.5(A) ac adapter, I can also safely use 16(V)-3.9(A) ac power adapter.
